Location

The estate is superbly situated in the eastern Cotswolds, close to the A40 Expressway, the City of Oxford, 9 miles, Cheltenham 27 miles and the historic Cotswold towns of Burford, 6 miles, and Witney and Bampton, both 2 miles. The estate makes an ideal base for touring the wonderful heritage and the stunning countrywide and villages of the Cotswolds yet is only 60 miles west of London. The M40 motorway is close by with superb links to London and the South East and Birmingham and the North. For those travelling from the South, access from the A34 Expressway is nearby.

London (Heathrow) Airport is only 1 hour away and London (Luton), Birmingham and Bristol Airports are about 1¼ hours drive. Private jets may use London (Oxford) Airport (12 miles) or on request from the RAF, Brize Norton (6 miles). There is a Helicopter landing pad in the grounds which is available by arrangement. The nearest rail station is Hanborough (8 miles) which is on the Cotswold Line and is served by First Great Western express trains from London (Paddington), Worcester and Hereford. Oxford Rail Station (10 miles) has extensive nationwide connections provided by First Great Western, Cross Country Trains and Chiltern  Railways. A wide range of express coach services operate to Oxford, Gloucester Green, Coach Station.
